The Chiasm of Mark 2:22
A chiasm is a literary structure where vocabulary of the first section of a passage is repeated in the second. The center of the chiasm is typically the climax of the passage. In Mark 2:22 the center and climax is that new wine is placed in old wineskins, the skins will burst and the wine will be lost.
