Matthew 24:15 states, “when you see the abomination (a neuter noun) of desolation… standing (a masculine participle) in the holy place.” Who is this man in the holy place of the temple? The answer is found in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 where Paul describes the antichrist “in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.”
